I started at Cleland as a Junior Designer, supporting on design work across all categories.
I progressed to my current position as Designer in 2022, a role in which I am now responsible for leading design and product development on Kitchen items, assisting on Bedding Accessories, photography briefings, trend development and design support across the other product areas.
The company has provided me with great opportunities for growth and development and have supported me in further expanding my skills and knowledge.
I like how no two days are the same here, and that I’m always able to push myself and experience new challenges. I love being able to interact with and learn from such varied groups/people. The whole team is a pleasure to work with and one which I’m proud to be a part of.

I joined Cleland two years ago straight from university, where I began my career working within the DTC Direct To Consumer team.
Very quickly I understood that this was an organisation which drives success and growth through efficiency and quality, which instilled my passion for the role.
A year later became the first employee to be enrolled on the Cleland Management Development Programme and felt honoured to have been presented which such an opportunity.
I have since enjoyed spending time in key areas of business, giving me a better and broader understanding how different departments operate.
I’ve also attended a breadth of training and development courses, including one-to one-coaching – all helping to develop my capability and future growth.
It has made me even more determined to develop as a manager here at Cleland.

Joined company aged 20 as warehouse operative and I’ve since worked in a number of roles across the business which have supported my personal and professional development.
In 2023 promoted to Head of Operations responsible for all 3 sites and functions from goods in, replenishment, order picking, production, stock admin and front line service to our customer.
I take great pride in my work and at Cleland have found a perfect match with my personal values. Being one of the team is as important to me as being the leader. Cleland offers great opportunity for everyone who joins the business.
